On Friday 6th December from 6:30-8:30pm the annual Victorian Evening will once again take place in Loddon town centre. Starting at 6:30pm, outside Bay Tree House, Father Christmas will arrive for the grand switch-on of the Church Plain Christmas lights. Thanks to the generosity and support of many of the town’s businesses, we are all set for another fun-filled evening of events: ∗ Chet Valley Voices performing outside the Co-op from 6:15pm ∗ Santa arriving by special escort to the Co-op forecourt at 6:30pm to switch on the Christmas lights ∗ Visit Santa in his grotto with gifts courtesy of Browne and Sons ∗ Punch & Judy Show at 6:45pm and 7:15pm in the rear of The Hollies funded by Loddon Town Council ∗ Funky Feet School of Dance & Performing Arts in the St John’s Church Lecture Hall where the competition team are performing at 7:00pm and 8:00pm ∗ Vintage steam engines in operation at Mutton Cottage opposite Loddon Garden & DIY ∗ Open House at Holy Trinity Church and St John’s Chapel, in George Lane, with charity stalls, hot drinks and mince pies ∗ Fire engine display and BBQ at the Loddon Fire Station ∗ Country Market at The Hollies with festive goodies and crafts ∗ Judging and trophies for the best-dressed residence and business on the Co-op forecourt at 8:00pm ∗ Find all the Christmas baubles in a trail throughout the town ∗ Traders throughout the town will be open and welcoming you Victorian Evening—The Church in Loddon Open House(s) As usual, Holy Trinity Church and St John's Chapel are open with charity stalls and material to promote the various organisations.
